Hereby, we proudly present the newly produced Furnace Tending Vehicle for our customer, Aluminium Duffel.
Twenty years ago, our customer started using their first Hencon Furnace Tending Vehicle (FTV) as a dedicated solution, stepping away from conventional methods to optimize operational efficiency, safety, and throughput.
After extensive use under heavy-duty conditions—operating in front of the furnace under extreme heat—our machines have proven their value in dedrossing, furnace cleaning, and mixing. The precise movement of the beam reduces wear and damage to the furnace lining, extending its lifetime and lowering related costs. Additionally, it minimizes metal spillage and heat loss while enhancing safety.
Now, after many years of reliable service and an average replacement cycle of 10 years, the customer has received their third Hencon diesel FTV. Together with the customer, we continuously optimize the design and features of the machine to meet their evolving needs.
